Ideal for sports therapy, deep tissue massage and osteopathy, the 3-section Affinity Athlete, with the same ergonomic frame and shape as the Affinity 8, is all about access and adjustability.
The Athlete’s lifting back rest makes it perfect for seated treatments and consultations, hence its popularity with sports clubs and physios. The sculpted centre section allows exceptional access to the pelvic and lumbar regions as well as offering the therapist an improved standing stance by reducing twisting.
As with the 2 section Affinity 8, this couch includes the face cradle frame but in place of the arm rest sling, it has a sturdier hanging arm rest shelf. As well as this additional client comfort, the Athlete conveniently features a breathe hole and bung and the durable PVC upholstery covers our Therafoam sports grade foam. Port holes have been thoughtfully included at either end of the couch so that a paper towel holder can be used at the same time as the face cradle frame.
The height is easily adjustable thanks to our one touch, spring back control on each telescopic leg, and, as with all Affinity portable couches, the Athlete can be easily setup/taken down in seconds.
